Hello everyone! I am Master Daisy from Balloon Daisy Clown. Today, I have a special treat for you! I'm going to show you three ways to make the most popular balloon creation ever: the balloon sword - from simple to super-easy.
Method 1: The Classic Sword
First, blow up a balloon almost all the way, leaving just a tiny tip.
Step 1: Twist the balloon about 8 fingers long. This will be the handle.
Step 2: Next, let’s make the guard - that’s the part of the sword that protects the hand. Bend the balloon to measure the size,
hold it with one hand, and twist with the other.
Now, bring the twists together and lock them by twisting again. One side of the guard is done!
Now, we do the exact same thing for the other side. Bend, twist, lock, and twist again! And there you go- the classic sword is ready!
Method 2: Super Simple Two-Twist Sword
The Super Simple sword in just two twists! We’re going to make a Loop Twist. Squeeze the balloon with one hand and twist—that’s one. Now, repeat the process: squeeze and twist—that’s two. The sword is ready! Fast and easy.
Method 3: The Pro "One-Twist" Sword
Are you ready to learn how to make the fastest, super-simple sword? It’s just one single twist! Experienced balloon artists use this trick during their shows to save time. Here we go!
Fold the balloon so the tail reaches the middle. Then, fold the tail back down so it lines up with the bottom. Now, grab right in the middle of this cluster and... twist! Your super-easy sword is finished in seconds!
Bonus Tip: How to Tie a Balloon
And now, as promised, I’ll show you the best way to tie a balloon knot quickly and easily.
Step 1: Hold the neck of the balloon in one hand and stretch it firmly.
Step 2: Wrap it tightly around your index and middle fingers to create a loop.
Step 3: Bring the neck forward and pinch it between those same two fingers.
Step 4: Pull the loop up and over your fingertips to secure the knot.
Done! A perfect knot every time.
